ZEALER
How can one who was once so holy, fall so far from righteousness?
Inspired on Diablo II
Prerequisite
You must have a shield as your holy symbol. Your class feature powers only work on swords, maces, and hammers.
Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the holy fire and holy freeze Channel Divinity options. At 5th level, you gain the holy shock Channel Divinity option.
Holy Fire. As a bonus action, you can imbue one weapon* that you are holding with holy fire energy, using your Channel Divinity. Once per turn, when you hit with the weapon, you deal 1d8 fire damage. A flammable object hit by this spell ignites if it isn’t being worn or carried.
Holy Freeze. As a bonus action, you can imbue one weapon* that you are holding with holy freezing energy, using your Channel Divinity. Once per turn, when you hit with the weapon, you deal 1d6 cold damage and its speed is reduced by 10 feet until the start of your next turn.
Holy Shock. As a bonus action, you can imbue one weapon* that you are holding with holy lightning energy, using your Channel Divinity. Once per turn, when you hit with the weapon, you deal 1d6 lightning damage and it can’t take reactions until the start of its next turn.
At level 6th when you gain your aura of protection class feature, the extra damage applies to two extra enemies in your aura.
Starting at 11th level, your Channel divinity ignores resistance.
The effect lasts for 1 minute. You can end this effect on your turn as part of any other action. If you are no longer holding or carrying this weapon, or if you fall unconscious, this effect ends.
Zeal
A noble Paladin, fervent in his dedication to righteousness, can draw upon the spirit of that dedication to perform seemingly impossible tasks. When surrounded by his enemies, a Paladin versed in this skill sets upon his adversaries with the zealous fervor of many times his number.
Starting at 7th level, you can use your reaction twice per round. One of your reactions must be used for attacks of opportunity, or the sentinel feat.
Holy Shield
To a Paladin, the shield is a symbol of his faith. Particularly devout Paladins can channel their faith into their shields, bolstering its defensive value with holy energy. The purer his faith, the greater his defense.
Beginning at 15th level, you are always under the Effects of the Shield of Faith spell; no concentration required.
Additionally, if an ally fails a saving throw inside your aura, you can expend one of your reactions to roll 2d4 and add it to the total, possibly changing the outcome.
Use can use this feature a number of times equals to half your proficiency bonus (rounded up). You regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest.
